My 35-week belly button |
Well, first of all as you can see, it has completely flattened out compared to before. But because my pre-pregnancy belly button was very deep in, it doesn't pop out.
See, it is flat on my round belly. It doesn't pop out hehe. |
I've been experiencing skin discoloration or chloasma since earlier in my pregnancy. In my first trimester, I had some discolored spots around my fingers and biceps. They've gone away once I reached my second trimester.

Now in my last stretch, not only that my belly and under arms experience discoloration, but also my face. I have some brown spots around my nose, temple, and cheek bones area.
But just like the pregnancy stretch marks, I happily embrace my spots -- whether or not they will go away in the future -- cause they serve as a reminder of God's guidance and memory of a great journey.
After all, I've earned my stripes and spots!!! (Ya ga, Nana Can???)
If I can encourage you today: embrace the you that has been created uniquely by God. Cause you've passed His HIGH standards of quality assurance. No worldly standards shall break or change you. You are HIS SPECIAL creation!!!
May this be a blessing!
