This blog I write as a reflection of God's blessing in my life. If I feel blessed, I know you will too! Thus, I want to share the blessings with you even though my words definitely can't express how magnificent His handiwork is. Need an encouragement? Read on!!

LITTLE KID INSIDE OF HIM
Have you ever heard the phrase: "There's a little kid inside all of us?" I'm sure you have. Well, I have a recent story to share with you about that.
Marcel had a cold on Sunday and decided to stay home while I went to Church. When I got home, he "suggested" that we should go grocery shopping. Hmm, that's unusual (I thought to myself). However, at the time I was craving chewy chocolate chip cookies. So I agreed with his suggestion and went grocery.
He was super patient and nice about this whole situation. He took me to Trader Joe's first so I could get my cookies. And of course I didn't just get the cookies, I shopped around for other products to stock up at home too. Little did I know while we were at Trader Joe's, he was looking for Vitamin C gummies. We just ran out of Vitamin C (caplets) at home. And he needs to eat some to fight his cold. One hour passed; I got all that I needed; but he didn't.
Then we stopped by Safeway to get some milk. At that time, he finally told me that he also needed to get Vitamin C. We found the Vitamin C; but the caplet ones. He refused to get them. I said, "But this is the Vitamin C you're looking for!" He said, "Nooooo, I want gummies!!!" OH MY ... we looked at each other and started laughing. So all this "grocery shopping" was because he wanted his gummies. Sneaky hubby!!!
We drove around to find Vitamin C gummies. I told him that if we cannot find Vitamin C gummies that day, I'd try to look for them at Costco on Thursday for him. But he gave me his sad and disappointed look. I couldn't bear it so I continued to help him look some more. FINALLY, we found the last 2 bottles at CVS. His frown turned upside down. And he smiled from ear to ear. Oh so precious!!! Like a little boy!!!
Yesterday, he took the earliest shuttle home. Once home, he went straight to the kitchen. I knew what he was going to do. So I sneaked in to video tape him as a memory!
Don't we all have the little kid in us? What's yours?
