QUIZ: HOW MANY TREES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GARDEN OF EDEN?

Same rules: No peeking the Bible.  No cheating.  No searching.  No asking around.  Leave your answer in the Comment!

Q: According to the Bible, how many trees were in the MIDDLE of the Garden of Eden?

A: There were 2 trees in the MIDDLE.  The Bible says in Genesis 2:9, "And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground -- trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for good.  In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."

Thank you everyone for participating.  And great job to those who answered it correctly and confidently.

Happy Thursday!

I know that there were the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge, both were the forbidden trees. But I'm sure there were other trees :)

Genesis does not number the trees but only one 'in the midst of the garden'. Eden is the large area containing the garden. from reading it with Allison just last night we don't remember seeing a number for either area, but the one that is of knowledge. neither does it say which type of fruit it contained. Eden was, implied, large. Whereas the garden was smaller so it could be 'worked' by Adam.

I don't recall the Bible mentioned the # of trees. It only mentioned "The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil".
