WHAT A SIGN!

LOL ... I was browsing through our photos and found this one that I took while driving back from the Niagara Falls to the hotel.  I believe this was already in downtown Toronto.  What a sign!!!  Can it have a funnier name than this?

TIP: PEEKING NO MORE YOU, SOLICITORS!

I live in an apartment complex that even though we have "No Solicitors" signs put up in almost every corner, we still have solicitors knocking on doors.  I guess the signs are meant to be ignored???  :-)

Anyway, Marcel has this "trick" that he implemented to help me avoid solicitors while he was still traveling for work.  He wanted me to feel safe in checking the door before opening it without the other person knowing whether I am home or not.

For this trick, you will need:
1) Peephole
2) Sticky note
3) Black marker

How you do it:

1) Find the peephole you want to cover.

2) Using the black marker, color the sticky note.  Make sure the area you color is big enough to cover the peephole.

3) Place the sticky note on the door.  I guarantee that the peephole will look pitch dark from the outside even though you have your lights on at night.  And when someone knocks on your door, you can lift up the bottom side of the sticky note and peek through the hole without him/her knowing if someone at home or not.  Make sure you do not lift the sticky note up too high like my picture below.  The picture was meant for demonstration only.  :-)

May you find this tip helpful!

FUNNY SLEEPOVER BUDDY

We have gotten so addicted to this sleepover buddy since the first time we had him over.  :-)  Now that our weekends are more freed up after the "nesting project," we can have some fun with Koko Maxie again.

This video is from last month.  Like Uncle like Maxie .. they both LOVE Coco Crunch.  This is their bonding time in the morning.  Maxie would not allow Annie to prepare him breakfast.  Only him and Uncle Marcel.  Which Annie is fine with so that Annie can take the time to get ready for Church.

This video was taken this past weekend.  We took the stool out for Marcel to use when I cut his hair.  We normally had the regular fold-able chair to use.  Since we already moved the fold-able chairs to the "nest," we were left with this tiny chair.  Little did we know that Maxie LOVES this chair so much.  He navigated around our house with this chair.  He would carry and move the chair to help him do stuff at our place such as brushing his teeth, washing his hands, taking Coco Crunch off the counter, turning on/off the light, etc.  Here is a short video of him after brushing his teeth and turning off the bathroom light.  He carried the chair to the room to turn off the bedroom light.  But he got distracted when he saw me filming him.

And finally, he turned off the light.  And we said "GOOD NIGHT" after that.

It's always nice having you over, Koko Maxie.  Please come more often.  Thank you, Papah Mamah, for letting us borrow Koko Maxie every so often.  HEHEHE.  Hope you do not mind accommodating this silly request of ours.  :-)
