Marcel and I have different habits in placing our toothbrushes on their stand (charger). I like to wipe mine clean and dry before placing it whereas Marcel would place his back half wet. Over the new few days, I would notice the white deposit built up at the stand's surface. I would then being me .. being pouty as I clean the stand. Unconsciously, I had blamed Marcel for letting the excess water to drop and build up the deposit.
Well, last night I found the white deposit on the stand! I was like, "What?? Still? How come? But, there's only me using it these days. Why?" I rushed to take my camera and took a photo of it as a reminder. God taught me to see "behind the scene." Even though I've dried out mine well, with things being used every day, it is just natural for them to get dirty. Don't be pouty. Don't be blaming your spouse for it. Just clean it. It's no big deal. And it's not worth of pouty-ing your spouse over it.
My own contribution to the white deposit.
I had the biggest guilty smile last night after God rebuked me. I sent the photo to Marcel with my story and asked him to forgive this pouty-over-toothbrush-stand wife. The forgiving hubby that he is he said this to make me feel better.
Two things he looks forward to seeing. Oh that reminds me not to clean it yet for him to see.
Well, I learn something new each day. I praise God for the one less thing to be irritated by. :-)
May this be a blessing!
