JASMINE'S VERSION OF AIRPLANE SIGN LANGUAGE

This happened last year when Jasmine just turned 2.  I want to write this on my blog so that I will always remember it.  :-)

Ko Akiong's little sister (Aunty Ellen) came for Jasmine's 2nd birthday party.  She actually stayed for couple more weeks too.  Jasmine had a blast with Ellen around.

The day after Ellen left, I stopped by Jasmine's house.  I asked Jasmine, "Where is Kukuh Ellen, Jasmine?"

Jasmine said, "Goneeeee" as she slightly extended her two arms to her side and flapped her palms repeatedly like bird wings.

So I asked Elisse, "What does that mean?"

Elisse cracked up and said, "You know.  Yesterday we took Ellen to the airport.  So Jasmine is telling you Ellen had left and that she took an airplane to go."

I laughed so hard because the Airplane sign should be like this.  With your pointer, pinky, and thumb extended while middle and ring fingers tucked into your palm, move your hand (facing down) forward and away from your body repeatedly.

May this turn your frown upside down!
