THE HANDS THAT PROVIDE

It has been awhile since the last time I wrote a blog. For the past couple of months, there's a huge change in my life. I am now a married woman. Marcel and I got married in Carmel, CA on 07.07.07. Living apart for us has always been a challenge to be thankful for. Though we are now still living in 2 different states, I have faith that what God unites, nothing can separate.

Just want to share a brief story that has been an encouragement to me every time I remember it. This is a story about a little boy at a store.

There's a little boy who goes to a store with his mom. He's a one playful and friendly boy. When the Store Manager saw the boy, he approached the boy and gave him a lollipop. But the boy suddenly became so shy and pulled himself away from the Store Manager. Couple times the Store Manager tried to give him the lollipop. Again, for that many times the boy avoided the Store Manager.

The boy's mom asked him, "What happened to you, honey? Why are you becoming so shy?"

And the boy replied, "Mom, his hands are so much bigger than mine."

This illustrates God's hands. His hands are so much bigger than ours. His hands can provide so much better for our needs than what we can do for ourselves. Come to God's big hands for comfort, hope, and protection. His hands are the providing hands.

May this be a blessing to you all!
